We were particularly pleased that Bird & son were able to do almost everything we needed and also helped us find a gas engineer and a chimney sweep for the jobs they couldn't do. They did a huge variety of jobs from installing a new wall, creating envronmentally friendly off road parking, replacing flooring, updating the electrics and clearing the garden and improving the paths. “ We cannot recommend Birdandson highly enough for their expertise, attention to detail, time keeping and cleanliness. They have over the past year fixed a living room light fitting which was fusing intermittently-this was done at six in the evening and took a couple of hours, to be honest we thought they would leave it till the morning, so we were very grateful. They have done gardening work, fixed fences, erected fences (not just for us but for several neighbours). They have also fixed an old ornate chair which was broken in half and the mend is invisible to the naked eye. “so happy with Aidan, he arrived at such short notice and managed to get everything sorted that day. I thought id have to spend over £150 to buy a new one as it no longer span.
Aidan said he would strip it down and see but did mention he may not be able to fix it. Thankfully he fixed it for £40 and even cleaned all the dust, finding 3 old face masks in the vent system. He recommended changing the heating element as only 2 coils were working. I will definitely keep his number for when the element dies as it would be £30 so hell of a lot cheaper than a brand new one"
