A client in Coulsdon wanted their outdoor office repaired and redecorated prior to moving to a smaller house. Picture is halfway through work on repairing rotten boards, clearing plants growing up and over the roof, and re-installing electrics inside

After a few coats of paint, electrical wiring made safe, and communication cables re-connected Jason is helping to put garden tools away 

Southampton, post tenancy, the kitchen was left damaged so the landlord wanted it renovated at a low cost

We kept the usable wooden cabinets; tiles were painted, everything deep cleaned, work surfaces replaced and grey flooring for a modern look. All the appliances were PAT tested too

Due to a past leak the kitchen top was saturated and broke off at the end of the previous tenancy and the pipe work was a mess. 

New kitchen top in, laminate floor, boxing in of the boiler pipes and deep clean of everything. The old cabinets were left to match the other side. Darin put in an outside tap for the owner to use

Garden clearance completed, Holly tree that was obstructing the light from entering the house removed by felling, and preparations ahead for the limestone shingle path

Limestone down, pipework altered, rubbish cleared, and spring plants in. The owner was amazed with how much space she had hidden by the sea of bushes/trees/brambles.

Old path and grass parking was requested to be change to a low-cost porous drive

Plastic tracks down and filled with limestone. The shingle path means you can hear people approaching the property. Aidan was halfway through re-pointing the wall to increase its stability

The landlord wanted a new, more modern, bathroom as the previous tenant had left the carpet stained and pungent. She wanted a low budget renovation 

New waterproof vinyl flooring put down, basin and splashback in. The old square Compact fluorescent lamp replaced with a brighter LED (IPX4)

The property needed updating so to gain access to the bathroom without having to go through the rear bedroom. 

The owners decided, after presentation of options, that a stud wall would be the best idea to create a new hallway.

The stud wall was erected, plasterboard attached, plastered, painted, and skirting board added. New plugs and radiators were put in as the wall meant the old ones were now in the hallway.

The owners wanted their broken fencing fixed and a new shed erected. Originally it was decided to shut off the higher, old compost/rubbish heap, as dead land. Later it was decided we would reclaim it and dig it all out down to level

The new shed was erected after the ground leveled and base fitted. Fencing was put in place and ground sloped gently away ready for grass seed. 

We went on to use old sleepers to create boarders before putting down shingle around the shed and pathing stones. Furthermore, the reclaimed land would harbour the two water butts and a compost bin

Ms F wanted a new shower put in to replace the old one as it had discoloured and was leaking severely

 

She decided on a rear fed, low cost shower for us to install

Install new, slab steps with treated wood and use the old salvageable steps as a boarder to create a nice natural looking staircase up to the back gate. 

An old garden shed where the side had rotten away. We cleared the all the wood and to reduce the material cost to the client we reused the wood they had from lying around so they didn't have to purchase any new wood. 

Featheredge all lined up and painted so it looks nice from the house. The roof was all re-felted and light re-installed. Just the roof edging and wire for a climbing clematis to finalise.
